dated for 1887, possibly Nepalese contract, with 33in. barrel, ramp and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, slab-sided receiver stamped with the maker, date and model number below a 'V.R.' crown device, tear-drop cocking indicator, walnut butt-stock with Enfield roundel stamp over-stamped with Siamese type marks and a date of 1906, long under-lever, three-quarter length military fore-end with two iron barrel-bands, the front with lug for bayonet and swamped iron clearing rod
